Essential
4 + years experience in Hyperion projects, at least 3 years full life
cycle experience in implementation and support of Hyperion Solutions
using Hyperion Tools (Hyperion 9.x).
· Hands-on experience analysis, design, development, trouble-shooting,
of Hyperion solutions using Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HAL, Hyperion
Analyzer, Hyperion Reports, Hyperion Interactive Reporting
· Familiarity, demonstrated knowledge & expertise in Data-warehousing
concepts, Relational (Oracle) and multi-dimensional databases, various
storage mechanisms
· Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Understanding of Hyperion System 9.x from administration and
configuration aspects
· Hands-on experience (min. 3 years) in modeling, development,
deployment and support of applications using Hyperion Essbase w/ASO
storage
· Understanding of business processes and exposure to practices in
Financial, HR functional domains
· Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Business-Intelligence
systems and analytics
· Demonstrated knowledge in testing process, hands-on experience in
software/application testing, esp. Hyperion applications
· Ability to work as a team-player, good understanding of
team-dynamics, multi-cultural and global team environments
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with
credibility at all levels of the organization and a team player
outlook with the ability to work well with peers.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
· Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
· Hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter 8.x
· Proficiency writing Oracle SqlPlus, Pl/sql scripts
· Understanding of Oracle Applications' database schema
· Candidates with experience in implementing DW Solutions around Oracle
