Job Title Project Manager/Programme Manager
Department Operational Performance Improvement (OPI)
Location Hyderabad
Reporting to VP â€" Project Management /Programme Manager

Purpose of Department

The Operational Performance Improvement (OPI) function has been established as a part of the organization with the aim of leading step change improvements in customer experience and unit cost through automation, standardization and optimization of organizations operational performance globally
The scope for OPI has been defined as follows:

End to end business processes required for the successful delivery, through all channels, of products & services to internal and external customers by:
• Delivering process standardization â€" Identifying and governing the best practice common standards and models
• Delivering Major Programmes â€" Delivering measurable results through end to end change
• Re-engineering â€" Sweating current assets to deliver improved performance
• Optimizing system capability â€" Ensuring the use of the best-standard based solutions

Job Description

The Project Manager would manage a complex strategic project or a portfolio of multiple small projects. The Project Manager would be expected to deliver the project within scope, cost and schedule. Responsibilities would include:
• Project planning, implementation, tracking, monitoring. Reporting the progress of the project to stakeholders
• Identifying and managing resource requirements for the project
• Ensuring project governance is in line with prescribed standards
• Escalating issues/concerns which are detrimental to project delivery.
• Identifying and escalating risks in project delivery. Working with the project steering committee to identify and implement mitigating actions
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Engineering graduate from a reputed institute. MBA from a top B-School will be an additional advantage
- Overall 3-6 years of work experience with minimum 2 years experience in project management
- Industry â€" Candidates from BFSI, consulting, IT
- Candidates with a operations consulting background (client facing) will be preferred
