Opening for ANZ Bangalore

We have been retained by our client ANZ Bank for Bangalore.
Given below are the details:

Location: Bangalore
Position: Team Leader (Reconciliation and Governance)

Position Purpose:
• To manage a team that is Accountable and responsible for
Reconciliation and Governance Functions across OTSS - Shared Services.
• To work directly with Group and OTSS Finance, Business Units,
People Capital, Group Tax, Indirect Tax Team, Accounts Payable,
Vendors, Computer share, CCS and other key stakeholders to make
recommendations on operational processed to ensure no financial losses
are incurred.
• Work collaboratively with the Shared Services
leadership/management team, engage key stakeholders and subject matter
experts to identify and communicate key areas for improvement and
process enhancements.
Major Responsibility Area:

Position Deliverables:
Reconciliation of all Shared Service Operative Accounts (including
delivery of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly reconciliation processes
in accordance with 7 Principles of Accounting); In particular:

Lead and Inspire:
• Demonstrate achievement of effective leadership, management and
active team participation.
• Performance Management, including provision of regular,
encouraging and constructive coaching and ensure any training needs
are identified.
• Change Management
Well Managed / Operational Efficiency:
• Management and Accountability of the reconciliation of accounts
and lodgment of returns for Indirect Taxes, which include Payroll TAX,
PAYG for employees and ANZ, Withholding TAX and GST.
• Clearance of discrepancies in accounts (within agreed SLAs).
• Responsible and accountable for payroll FBT data and the RFB upload.
• Risk Management / Continuous Improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to better service the customer
and anticipate needs.
Qualifications :
• Formal qualification in Finance/Business Management.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team to achieve
excellent service results.
• Demonstrated change / project management skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with the willingness to go the
extra mile to resolve issues.
• A passion for continuous improvement with demonstrated results.
• Experienced in operating within an ever-changing workplace.
• Knowledge of data analysis.
• Detailed knowledge and experience with Finance Data, Operational
Processes and Policy.
• Excellent PC skills and experience with various data analysis tools
• Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to
consistently meet timelines.
• Ability to apply advanced problem solving skills, including the
ability to think laterally to generate solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in compliance and
regulatory matters.
