Job Description
Hyperion Admin
Responsibilities include:
• Build, Maintain and support of all FILI Hyperion server environments
• Application Releases
• Contributing to design/development and rollout of HPS infrastructure
• Consultation to application development teams
• Development of Hyperion methodologies and practices
• Work as a part of team split between US and India
• Install and configure HPS used by FILI Hyperion developers
• Improve current release / build procedures to maximize efficiency
and stability
• Support problem resolution, consult and advise on application design
• Provide HPS server administration support for development and
maintenance of production, test and development
• Work with support, QA, management and development team to plan
deliver high quality release
• Participation in on-going HPS architecture definition / rollout
• Work closely with vendor to track / resolve product defects.
• Participate in product evaluation, design review session, data
requirement meetings and consulting with application development
products.
Required Qualifications
• Strong Unix skills (OS navigation, Shell scripting desired)
• Strong Hyperion / Brio Admin Skills
• Strong Report / Dashboard authoring skills
• Working knowledge with Websphere / console
• General knowledge how to install/configure oracle client and/or
other software on Unix AIX
• Strong communication skills. The ability to communicate an issue and
to escalate when required. Working with Vendor to open problem ticket.
• Desired skills - understanding of architecture supporting a
distributed environment.
• Desired skills – Understanding of basic Java scripting
• Ability to multi task and work in a matrix environment (offshore/onshore)
• Become familiar with alarm point/PACE/Service Center.
